Site Down

My apologies for Citation Machine being down over the last couple of days. I have moved the pages over to my new dedicated server, and there was a glitch in moving the domain name. Dreamhost released it, but there was a problem in my configuration that prevented Rackspace from catching it. Cleared up now, over a phone call from my breakfast table in Asheville yesterday. I love phone support.

There's obviously a lull in citation machine usage right now and I'll be spending part of this time featuring Son of Citation Machine out. I think you'll be pleased.

This is an excellent site--I caught a typo on the home page:
"The primary goal of this tool is to make is (should be 'it')so easy...).

Thanks for you work.

I love the citation machine and have been using it for three years now. Thanks for this tool I could not have learned APA citing without it!

Did you lose a sentence at the top of the MLA webpage? C. Vest

David,
Our students find Citation Machine to be a wonderful tool. However, this week, the ads on the right side of the screen are covering up the citation that appears after clicking on "Submit". The student cannot highlight and copy the entry. Hopefully, this can be corrected. Thank you for your hard work.

I have been teaching the students to use citationmachine.net. Lately the advertisements have covered parts of the fill-in document so the students cannot submit a completed document. Can you fix that?

While I fully appreciate this tool that you have created, due to the very small print, I missed a step, where an "Outdent" was required for my Citations, in a term paper that I recently wrote (and subsequently turned in). Can you expand the font size for the instructions, specifically where the "outdent" is indicated (and shown below the section that is to be copied and pasted)? I managed to miss that part completely. Thanks! ~ j
